Karen combines deep listening & insightful questions, creating a space for clients to slow down & think.


Karen has been working as a coach and development consultant for over fourteen years. As a Senior Manager at PwC, she led the design and facilitation of the flagship Emerging Leaders Programme and two award-winning Diversity and Inclusion programmes.

At Barclays, Karen implemented the talent review process and managed career development for the Top 100 Talent. Karen established her consultancy practice in 2013 and has worked across the public, private and non-profit sectors in the UK, mainland Europe and Asia, working with clients such as Mercer, HSBC, PwC, A.T. Kearney, NHS and Cancer Research UK. 

Karen's use of psychological models and practical exercises helps clients unlock new ways of thinking and new actions to take forwards. Karen particularly enjoys partnering with clients in highly pressurised roles to enhance their resilience so they thrive, not just survive. She loves to help clients connect with and value their strengths, and find inspiring ways to communicate their successes. And also working with those who feel ‘on the margins’ and empowering them to release their potential.

Karen has a BA in Anthropology from Durham University and is CIPD qualified. Karen is an NLP master practitioner and has trained in Gestalt Coaching & Facilitation, Action Learning and Transformational Narrative Coaching. She is accredited in a range of development tools including MBTI Step 1 and 2, Hogan Development Systems and FIRO-B.
